Our guarantee is that within 30 minutes of answering your call, a claims representative will start the claims process, and will have the ability to take charge of the situation and arrange emergency support if required (the "Guarantee"). This applies only in respect of new loss or damage not previously reported to us in respect of a valid belairdirect personal auto or home policy (the "Policy"). The support offered by our claims representatives depends on your insurance coverage and when we receive your call. To activate the Guarantee, the policyholder must call and speak to a claims representative. No other form of communication is permitted to activate the Guarantee. The Guarantee is not valid if our operations are impacted by a system failure or catastrophic situation occurring in Canada at the time of your call, such as: earthquake, blackout, hailstorm, forest fire, flood, act of terrorism, war or other major natural disaster, or political unrest. If we are not able to live up to the Guarantee we will write you a cheque in the amount of the annual premium of your home or auto insurance Policy relating to the claim to a maximum of $1,000.
